ACTIVITY OF THE WEEK

Susan Berg, the author of, “Adorable Photographs of Our Baby-Meaningful, Mind-Stimulating Activities and More for the Memory Challenged, Their Loved Ones, and Involved Professionals”, designed this adaptive dreidel for those with dementia

Get or make a 3 to 6 inch square cardboard box. Cover it with white paper. Draw and cut out the Hebrew letters. as pictured gimmel, nun, shin, hay. I use a different color of construction paper for each letter Paste one letter on each side of the box. I use 3 gimmels so winning is easier. However the emphasis is on fun and not winning.
