Judy was petite, and only 4' 11-1/2" tall

In 1936 she moved to MGM, where she soon gained popularity in the role of Betsy Booth in the Andy Hardy series with Mickey Rooney and Ann Rutherford

Appeared in three Andy Hardy films, but was paired with Mickey Rooney in seven other films from 1937 - 1948

Skyrocketed to stardom as Dorothy in The Wizard Of Oz at the age of 17 in 1939
